Janette Miller, 55, of Hubbard, TX, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her beloved animals. There will be no formal services or visitation.
Janette was born March 19, 1970, in Wausau, Wisconsin to Dennis and Brenda Jensen. She was married to Gary D. Miller, and they had four children that she loved dearly. At a young age Janette found herself drawn to the active life. She loved trying new things and pushing boundaries. As she grew up, she enjoyed traveling and searching for the illustrations her audio books described. She loved to stop and take in the scenery, smelling the flowers as she went. She would always find the light in the darkest of days.
She enjoyed taking drives, with no destination in mind, and throwing some lead down the range with Gary. When she had children, she strived to be the best mother possible. She enjoyed playing video games with her son, Lee, and board games with her daughter, Constance. She enjoyed spending time in Florida seeing her stepdaughters Amanda and Patty. A candle within the shadow was lit when she became a Memaw.
As a Memaw, her favorite pastime was cheering as loud as she could from the stands at her grandchildren’s games and events. When she wasn't cheering for her grands, she was making plans for her family to get together. She thoroughly enjoyed holiday’s and BBQ's that surrounded her with those that loved her. Her presence would illuminate the room, and she always made sure everyone smiled. Her greatest joy before her passing was her vow renewal/wedding ceremony with Gary a month prior.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Keck (Jensen); Stepfather Joe Keck; grandmothers', Kathryn "Kathy" Jensen and Edna Bekkelund; grandfathers', Roger Jensen and Erwin Bekkelund.
She is survived by her husband of 26+ years, Gary Miller; her father, Dennis Jensen; son, Lee Jensen; daughter, Constance Cantrell, and husband, John Cantrell; step-daughters' Amanda and Patty Miller; best friend, Dennisa Poling, her husband, Mike, and their children David, Alex, Justin, and Zack; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her grandchildren Leah, Eleanor, Athena, Landen, and Theodore.
Those who knew Janette know all she wanted is a BBQ with everyone to comfort one another and remember her with the laughs she shared with them. The family is hosting a BBQ Memorial on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 347 Furlong Way, China Spring, TX, 76633, and are asking all that attend to wear something purple in honor of Janette. Memorials may be made in her name to The American Heart Association.
Flowers may be sent to her daughter's home at 14114 Old China Spring Rd, China Spring, TX, 76633.
The family invites you to leave a message or memory of Janette in her “Memorial Guestbook” at www.WHBfamily.com
