Jerald F. Stewart, D.V.M. September 26, 1948 - February 8, 2013 Dr. Jerry Stewart of China Spring passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 11, at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, February 10 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Jerry was born September 26, 1948, in Waco to Dr. Howard and Taresa Stewart. He graduated from La Vega High School in 1966. He received his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech and his DVM from Texas A&M. He served his community as a veterinarian at Northside Animal Hospital for over 35 years. In his free time he loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and working at his ranch. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pam Stewart of China Spring; two sons, Jason Stewart and wife, Keri, of China Spring and Jeremy Stewart and wife, Megan, of College Station; one daughter, Sheri Benamati and husband, Chris, of San Antonio; one sister, Sheri Phillips and husband, Jim, of Lubbock; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
