John was born May 7, 1941, in Cullen, Webster Parish, Louisiana to the late Vernon and Eva Carr Craine. Following his military service, John embarked on a long and successful career with Keller Industries where he worked for 39 years and 25 years as Vice President of Manufacturing.
His personal life was equally rich. This charming beginning blossomed into a loving relationship, culminating in their marriage on June 20, 1964, in Waskom, Texas. Their bond was strengthened by shared experiences and unwavering support for each other over more than 61 years of marriage. John was particularly known for his loving nature.
John cherished his role as a father and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Dean Craine; daughters, Kelly Craine and Amy Craine Davis and her husband, Mike; sisters, Nancy Scott and her husband, Larry, and Sherry Glenn and her husband, Steve; sister-in-law, Barbara Martin; grandchildren, John and William Davis; niece, Leslie Twohig; nephew, Jared Thompson; and his beloved 28-pound cat, Bubba; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon C. Craine and Eva Carr Craine. His legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew him.
