John W Whitsel March 24, 1913 – October 14, 2005 John W. Whitsel passed away Friday, October 14, 2005 at a local hospital. Rosary services will be at 5:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Visitation will follow after the Rosary. John was born March 24, 1913 in Akron, OH to John James and Mary Redinger Whitsel. John has been a lifelong Roman Catholic and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco. John was a hard worker who loved farming and loved working in his vegetable garden. He built airplanes and was a pilot. He is survived by wife, Conrada Partosa Whitsel of Waco; sons, Gary Whitsel and wife, Ardis of Dupree, SD, Denver Whitsel of Canton, OH, John C. Whitsel and wife, Elena of Waco and Rene P. Whitsel of Waco; grandchildren John R., Jim, Lorie, Gina, Robin, Shirley, Madelon, Carla, Renlee, Justin, Isaiah Rene, Desislava, and several great grandchildren.
