John William Foster John William Foster passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at his home in Riesel. Services will be at 1:30 pm Friday, September 30, 2005 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel with the Bishop Gene Hodson officiating. Burial will follow at Riesel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 8:00 pm Thursday, September 29, 2005 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. John was born March 24, 1944 in Houston to James B. and Marguerite Foster. John served his country in the U S Air Force and U S Navy and worked with the Marine Corps. He was a professional photographer and was a medical photographer for the Waco VA Regional Hospital. He loved to be involved in volunteer work with different organizations in the community including MADD, DARE, Victim Services, Texas Crime Prevention and Waco Citizens on Patrol. He was an active member of the Republican Party, the Marine Corps League, Masonic Lodge, Baylor Senior Choir and much loved as Doc in the Young Marines program. He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Riesel; son, Doug Foster of Victoria; daughter, Kim Bauman of Riesel; brother James B. Foster, Jr.; grandchildren Kathryne, Steven, Anthony, Christine and Emily. He was preceded in death by James B. and Marguerite Foster. John is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
