Judge George H. Allen
Retired District Judge, George H. Allen, 89, of Waco, died Friday evening, October 23, 2026, at his home with his family by his side.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 14, at Western Heights Baptist Church, 6301 Bosque Blvd, with Dan Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 13, at the McLennan County Courthouse from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the courthouse rotunda where Judge Allen will lie in state.
Judge Allen will also lie in state at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. from October 28 through November 13, excluding weekends.
