Julia Marie Kocher April 1, 1925 - October 22, 2014 Julia Marie Kocher of Waco passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at her home. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. John Guzaldo officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Julia was born April 1, 1925, in Burlington, Texas, to Henry and Hattie Helpert. She was a member of the USO in the 1950s and was employed at First National Bank during the Waco Tornado in 1953. She and her family loved to travel. She was a gardener and was always there for her family, especially the grandchildren. Julia was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John F. Kocher. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Kocher Dupuis and husband, Donald, of Waco; grandchildren, Justin Pool, Jennifer Moore and husband, Andrew, Brandon Dupuis and Bryon Dupuis; and great grandson, Spencer Moore.
