Karl Miller

Karl Miller, 82, passed after a brief illness on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Services will be Tuesday November 18, at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel at Wilkirson-Hatch Bailey Funeral Home. Visitation is Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Karl was born November 13, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa to Clair and Lola Ambrose Miller. He attended Iowa City public schools and graduated in 1961.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patti Miller Marolf, brothers-in-law, Bruce Marolf and Tom Garcia and his in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Abner Aaron.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jana Aaron Miller, sister, Roxann Miller Garcia, of Napa, California, daughter, Gretchen Miller, of Chesterfield, Missouri, Adriane Miller, of Springfield, Missouri, Lisa Lux, and husband Stuart, of Sonora, Texas, Jennifer Engle, and husband Garrick, of San Angelo, Texas, granddaughter Kami Lux, and grandsons Kyler Lux, Kasey Lux, Nathan Engle, Robin Engle and great-grandson Coe Lux.

Memorials in Karl’s memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers, P.O. Box 70719, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0719.

Pallbearers include Kyler Lux, Kasey Lux, Nathanial Engle, Robin Engle, Justin Stead and Mike Berryhill.
