There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Riesel Cemetery. Visitation will prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m, at the cemetery. Kenneth, known by family and friends as Ken or Kenny, graduated from University High School in Waco, Texas in 1974. Throughout his life, Kenny attended various local Baptist churches in his community. He had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and his family is comforted knowing that he walks with the Lord in heaven today, with other family members that have gone before him. His professions included painting, mirror etchings, and professional cabinetry making for homes in the Dallas and Garland areas. In his spare time, he enjoyed using his artistic abilities to draw, whittle and carve, and played pool, winning several tournaments over the years. His favorite past time was spending time with his son, little Kenny, whom will miss his dad very much. Kenny loved to work hands on with his son, from fishing to sharing his artistic abilities. Although he had been a resident of the Garland area for many years, he recently moved to Rimrock, Arizona to live with his sister Judy K. Dobbs and her fiancée Syd Dearborn, who cared for him during the last weeks of his life. Kenny will always be remembered as an artistic man who loved to laugh and tell jokes. Kenneth was proceeded in death by his infant twin brother Keith Wayne Coone, infant sister Judith Ann Coone, his parents Sam and Frances Coone and Louise Kirby, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his favorite aunt and uncle CF & Rebecca Johnson of Wiley, Texas. He is survived by his children, Rebecca Faye Charles and Kenneth “Little Kenny” Allen Coone Jr.; his siblings Sammy Coone of Reisel, Texas; Lavon C Stoneberg of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Judy K. Dobbs of Rimrock, Arizona; Rhonda Coone of Waco, Texas; and Gilbert Harty of Port Aransas, Texas; and many nieces and nephews, all whom will miss him greatly.
