BLACK, LAURA ERNESTINE Laura Ernestine Black, age 85 of Waco died Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Monday, December 1 at Waco Memorial North with Pastor Don Cowan officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4-6pm Sunday, November 30 at the funeral home. Ms. Black was born in Aquilla, Texas February 5, 1918 and attended Waco public schools. She was a seamstress for J. M. Wood Manufacturing. She had been a member of First Church of the Nazarene since 1930. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Zora and Markham Black and sister and brother-in-law, Lou and John Beresford. Survivors include sister Maree Black of Waco; niece Linda Forehand and husband, Harold of California; and grandniece and nephews, Sarah, Mark, and Randy Forehand.
