Linda Gayle Morris May 27, 1944 - October 28, 2011 Linda Gayle Morris of Greenville, formerly of Waco, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at her residence. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Linda was born May 27, 1944, in Waco, Texas to Carl and Vida Grooms. She attended San Angelo Schools and after her marriage the family moved to Waco. She worked at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center. Linda was a member of Central Baptist Church of Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two siblings. She is survived by her son, Amos Morris and wife, Connie; two daughters, Patty Speas, and Peggy Morris; her sister, Gay Henley and husband, Jack; five grandchildren and their spouses; one great granddaughter; two aunts; and several nieces and nephews.
