A native of Waco, Linda was born October 22, 1946, to the late Woodrow Wilson and Melva Dean Mize Morrow. After graduating high school, Linda went on to attend, the Central City Commercial College, also known as the 4C. Linda married her love and companion, John Bill Hadley, June 5, 1964. Linda dedicated her life first and foremost to her family. She was a devoted homemaker who warmly embraced the role of caring for her loved ones. Over the years, she skillfully handled the bookkeeping and various other duties for her husband's businesses, showcasing her commitment and love for her family.
Linda's pride and joy were her family, her devoted husband of over 61 years, John; her children, Chris Hadley and his wife, LeAnn, and Lisa Nixon and her husband, Shawn, with whom she created countless cherished memories. Family time was Linda's passion, and her spirit will live on through her grandchildren, C. J. Hadley, Colton Nixon and his wife, Lindsay, Lauryn Bruner and her husband, Doc, Paige Hadley, and Ethan Hadley. She also took great pleasure in her great-grandchildren, Alexander Nixon and Bridger Bruner. Linda was further delighted by her adoring yorkiepoo, Buddy, who brought her much joy in her later years.
Linda's personality was defined by her selflessness; she cared more about others than herself, guiding them with her nurturing spirit. Her proudest accomplishments were celebrated through her family, which she held dear to her heart.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Melva Dean Mize Morrow; her son, Steven Hadley, who passed away in 2009; and her brother, Larry Morrow.
Linda will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends, whose lives she touched with her kindness and dedication. Her legacy of love and devotion will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
