Lois was an affectionate, dedicated, and hardworking individual who always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was born in Akron, Colorado, to the late Joseph Martin and Martha Retha (Buhr) Perrin. Lois married a Navy man and also proudly served in the Naval Reserves herself. She went on to have a distinguished 51-year career with the civil service. Lois was known for her compassionate nature, generous spirit, and witty sense of humor. A faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years, Lois was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of comfort to anyone in need. She also enjoyed traveling extensively for the Bureau of Land Management, including a memorable trip to Alaska, where she had the opportunity to tour and view the region’s wildlife.

Lois's warm and joyful personality touched the lives of everyone she met. Her passing will be deeply mourned by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy will live on through generations, inspiring others with her kindness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelley King, and son-in-law, David King; her daughter-in-law, Kim Hefty; her parents, Martha and Joseph Perrin; her brothers, Ray Perrin, Joseph Perrin, David Perrin, and Charles Perrin; and her sisters, Hazel Kimbrough, Leota Froman, and Helen Carson.
