Loretta Monzita Carey

Loretta Monzita Carey of Thornton passed away Friday, January 22, 2016, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Jim Bradshaw of Dallas officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Tuesday, January 26, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Loretta was born September 13, 1938, in Canadian, Oklahoma to Alfred and Avnell Pryor. She was owner/operator of Manpower Temporary Services and Property Damage Appraisers for 30 years. She was a member of the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas for 30 years and The American Business Women’s Association for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed Carey and brother, Robert Pryor. She is survived by three sons, Marty Crouch and wife Deborah of Lubbock, TX; Robert Crouch and wife Karen of Harker Heights, TX and Danny Crouch of Hewitt, TX; six granddaughters; four grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and partner of 17 years, Harvey Abel, of Lake Limestone.
