Louise Jenkins

JENKINS, LOUISE Louise Jenkins, of Waco, died Thursday, March 7, 2002 in a local nursing home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, March 9 at Waco Memorial Park with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Aquilla, Texas to the late John B. and Belle Conrad. She attended the Academy of Sacred Heart parochial school and a business college. She married John A. Jenkins January 21, 1941; he preceded her in death January 25, 1987. She was a buyer for the R.E. Cox Department Store for over 20 years. She was a member of Blossom Garden Club, Lake Waco Country Club, Austin Ave. United Methodist Church and Hartsfield Sunday School Class. She was also preceded in death by brother, Kevin Conrad and sister, Connie Standley. Survivors include sisters-in-law, Mrs. Katherine J. Chidley and Mrs. Zalez Jenkins; nephews, Tom Tackett, John Tackett, Mike Blaisdell, Bob Jenkins, Bill Chidley, David Chidley; nieces, Jan Bowen, Martha Derda, Susan Short, Jane Kee, and Claudia Allison.
