Luke James Abendschein was born May 10, 2024, at 7:04 p.m., to parents Matthew and Lauren Abendschein without a heartbeat.

Our sweet angel, we will always wonder who you would have been. But until we can meet, we will look for your brightness in the sunrises; listen for your footsteps in the patter of the rain; hear you whispering in the wind: and remember you as the butterflies flutter by.

We’ll save you a seat, little buddy. We love you.

Luke is survived by his parents, Matthew and Lauren Abendschein; big brother, Keaton Abendschein; grandparents, Brad and Michele Berger; uncle and aunt, Blake and Rachel Berger; and great-grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who all loved him like family.

Private burial services were held.
