Mabel Ann Poole "Rochelle"

Mabel Ann Poole "Rochelle", of Waco, TX, passed on Sunday, May 03, 2026, at Providence Hospital. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco with The Reverend Jason Ingles officiating.

Mabel Ann Poole was born in Lancaster, South Carolina on April 30, 1939. She lovingly was given the nickname “Bitty” as she was the smallest and youngest, but don’t let that fool you she was one of the strongest. This strength would come to serve her well as a child, and later in life. She had a deep love for the Lord and a heart of gold. Mabel had many loves but always put her children first. She was the most amazing nurturer. She enjoyed horticulture, sewing, art, singing and dancing. She loved people. She never met a stranger and will be remembered fondly by all the people she shared time with.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Hamilton, and her sisters Amanda Mae “Mandy” Poole, Catherine “Cat” Poole, Bernice Poole Chavez, and brother Jesse Allen Poole.

Mabel is survived by her children Cheryl Ann Collins, and husband Paul Collins, Annette Faye Lloyd and Norma Blaisdell, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
