A Mass celebrating his life will take place at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church, Friday, February 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park in Robinson.
Manuel’s spirit ignites a light in the hearts of many and a testament to his zealous passion for life. With an inquisitive mind that thrived on the complex beauty of technology and learning, Manuel found immense joy in continuing to immerse himself in the world of computers. Manuel graduated from Midway High in 1999. He achieved his Associates in Computer Maintenance Technology and held several certifications in Home Technology Integration from TSTC. Eager to master his understanding of technology he was on the brink of achieving his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2025.
Yet, beyond the glow of computer screens and the rhythm of innovation, it was his profound love for family and friends that set him apart. Manuel’s passion for Tejano music gave him the opportunity to use his DJ skills. He was known as “Shadow”in the San Antonio area which brought together joyful experiences and unforgettable gatherings. Manuel was also a talented Trumpet player, performing with the Waco Community Band and the Waco Jazz Band. He was honored to performed Taps for Veterans.
He was not just a partner, son or brother; he was a source of comfort and strength. He leaves behind a tapestry of cherished relationships. Manuel and his life partner Cynthia Garza built a life filled with love and shared dreams. His parents, Leon and Juanita Luzunaris, carry the weight of his absence, as do his devoted brother, Miguel Luzunaris his wife Gloria; his sister, Miriam Morris and her husband, Theren. The heartbreak extends to his nieces, Mailyn Luzunaris, Maricella Morris, Isabella Morris and his nephew, Sebastian Morris. They will undoubtedly miss the joyous spirit that Manuel brought into their lives. They, along with other loving family members and friends, will forever hold him in their hearts.
Manuel’s journey was not without its trials; he faced a short but courageous battle with cancer, a confrontation he met with a grace that only those deeply embedded with love and faith could possess. His strength however, was radiantly fueled by the support of those closest to him, embodying the love that united them through life’s tempestuous storms. Though Manuel may no longer physically walk among us, his spirit will resonate through the memories he forged, the love he shared, and the legacy of joy that will continue to thrive in the lives of his family and friends.
His laughter, creativity, and boundless affection will remain etched in time, reminding all who knew him just how precious and beautiful life truly is.
Pallbearers will be: Miguel Luzunaris, Robert Toups, Justin Niswanger, Vincent Fernandez, Craig Rodriquez, and Rolando Rodriguez.
