Con profundo dolor y amor Eterno, anuciamos el fallecimiento de Margarita Lopez Ascosta, carinasamente concida como “Margie”, quien partio en paz el 4 de febrero de 2026 en Harker Heights, Texas, a la edad de 79 años.

Margie nació el 5 de Noviembre de 1946 en Yauco, Puerto Rico, y a lo largo de su vida fue un ejemplo de fortalez, fe y entrega. Fue unamujer amarosa, cristiana devota y profundamente dedicada a su familia. Su carácter fuerte iba siempre acompañado de un sentido del humor especial que llenabade de alegría a quienes la rodeaban.

Margie falleció en su hogar, rodea del amor de su esposo por 58 años, Luis Rodriguez, junti a sus hijos Luigge y Jommie, y su amado nieto Brandon.

Sus últimas palabrabas, Dichas con serenid y belleza, fueron:

“Mira que lindas estas nubes”.

Uma frase que relleja la paz y espíritu lleno de gracia con el que vivo.

Margarita deja un legado de amor, fe y unión familiar que permanecerá por siempre en los corozones de todos las que tuvieron el plivilego de conocerla.


With profound sorrow and everlasting love, we announce the passing of Margarita Lopez Acosta, lovingly known as “Margie”, who entered eternal rest on February 4, 2026, in Harker Heights, Texas, at the age of 79.

Margie was born on November 5, 1946, in Yauco, Puerto Rico. Throughout her life, she was a shining example of strength, faith and devotion. She was a loving woman, a devoted Christian, and deeply committed to her family. Her strong spirit was always accompanied by a warm sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around her.

Margie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by those she loved most: her husband of 58 years, Luis Rodriguez, her sons, Luiggie and Jommie, and her beloved grandson Brandon.

Her clear final words were both beautiful and serene:

“Look at how beautiful these clouds are”.

A reflection of the peace, grace, and gentle spirit with which she lived.

Margarita leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and family that will remain forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
