Marian Meroney January 6, 1927 - November 5, 2014 Marian Meroney of Waco passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Lake Shore Village. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Steven Mansen officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Marian was born January 6, 1927, in Thornton, Texas, to Charles and Oneida Burns. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a member of Beta Sigma Pi, Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of Confederate, Baylor Alumni and a dedicated member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. A. Meroney; parents, Charles and Oneida Burns; and one son, Jeffrey Meroney. She is survived by one daughter, Eileen Melton and husband, Jody, of Waco; one son, Murray Meroney and wife, Michelle, of Waco; and one sister, Ernestine Rasner and husband, Les, of Waco.
