Marie Gardner

Marie Gardner October 18, 1928 – July 10, 2006 Marie Gardner, 77, of Waco, passed away Monday, July 10, 2006. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 13 at Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Marie served as Captain in the U.S. Army, had a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics from Hunter College in New York and worked many years as a Registered Dietician. She was a devout Roman Catholic and was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. She was previously involved in showing Shelties at dog shows. Marie was also a writer, loved jigsaw puzzles and traveling. She was a loving mother and sister and will be dearly missed. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Carroll Gardner and a brother, Robert French. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Gardner of Waco; brother, Donald French and wife, Jean and sister, Elaine Dagendesh.
