Dr. Martin E Baurer May 31, 1932 - February 8, 2008 Martin E Baurer, MD, of Waco passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 at Regent Care Center. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, February 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. He grew up in New York City where he graduated from medical school. He then served in Germany for three years as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He retired after many years of practice with the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. He is survived by his wife, Lauralou Baurer of Waco, TX. Because of his love of animals, memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue of Waco.
