Mary Alice Pierce September 20, 1938 - July 5, 2007 Mary Alice “Peggy” Pierce of Waco passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the funeral home. Mary Alice was born September 20, 1938 in Bellmead, TX to Sidney Virgil and Lida J. Keeling. She was a graduate of North Texas State University and an educator in Waco for over forty years. Mary Alice has been a lifelong Baptist. She loved sewing and doing needlepoint. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary Alice is survived by her son, Scott Keeling Pierce and two sisters, Lily Mae Weaver and Georgia Armstrong. Also surviving are grandchildren, Collin Norkiewicz, David Norkiewicz, Jonathan Norkiewicz, Matthew Norkiewicz, Katherine Jost, William Jost and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
