LANDRUM, MARY GURLEY BRYAN Mary Gurley Bryan Landrum, age 90, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at a local hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at St. Albans Episcopal Church with the Rev. Patrick Miller officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor, Texas. Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 31 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Landrum was born in Waco, in 1912, to Alva and Annie Brooks Bryan. She graduated from Waco High School, attended Baylor University, TSTI, and graduated from the Memphis Art Academy. In 1937, she was married to John M. Landrum. Mrs. Landrum was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and was very active in the St. Alban’s Guild. She was also a member of The Daughters of the King. Mrs. Landrum was an accomplished painter and sculptor. She is preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include daughter, Leta Landrum Pierce of Omaha, Nebraska; son, John Bryan Landrum and wife, Nancy of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandsons, Reece Pierce and wife, Deborah of Omaha, Russ Pierce and wife, Jenny and Randy Pierce and wife, Beth, and 5 great grandchildren, all of Louisville, Kentucky.
