Mary Anne was born November 16, 1951, to Lee and Anne Holloway. Mary Anne’s childhood in Fort Worth, TX was wonderful. She had loving parents; a younger sister she called Sudan and a younger brother called Holloway. Mary Anne grew up playing card games and swimming at Ridglea County Club.
She graduated from Arlington Heights High School. Mary Anne attended Baylor University studying business. She worked in the fashion/apparel retail industry. Her career began in her Aunt Lou’s boutique store, Studio 16. She later worked at Lilly Dodson then Dian Malouf.
Mary Anne was an independent lady who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed being with them and enjoyed going back home to Dallas with her beloved dog Lulu. Mary Anne’s family was her sister Susan Leggott, husband Tom, and their two children. Daughter Zoe Holland, husband Blake, and their two daughters Claire and Kate who loved their Mimi. Son Shane Leggott and wife Vy who adored her and are taking good care of her cat. Mary Anne was always with them for holidays, vacations, and weekends playing board games.
Mary Anne loved having adventures with a group of friends referred to as mermaids. Diving, sailing, watching dolphins and pelicans, walking the beach looking for seashells, going to Buffett concerts and going on cruises were some of her favorite activities. Mary Anne was a giver. Friends and family will treasure all the perfect gifts that she spent so much time picking out and wrapping so beautifully. Mary Anne was the true gift to all of us.
