Maxie Earl Lucas

LUCAS, MAXIE Maxie Earl Lucas, age 79, of Waco died Monday, June 11, 2001at the Marlin V.A. Hospital. Services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, June 13th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel; 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. David Story officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, June 12th at the funeral home. Mr. Lucas was born on June 16, 1921 in West Virginia. He attended school there. He married Wanda Fuller in December, 1964. She preceded him in death October 21, 2000. He was a member of the Pentecostal church. He was a WWII Army Veteran. His son, William Earl Lucas, also preceded him in death. Survivors include: Daughters: Sharon Rivera and husband, George, Cynthia Valdez and husband, Luis, Pamela Rodriguez and husband, Martin, Brother: Leslie Lucas, all of Waco, Grandchildren: Mary Rodriguez, Lois Rivera, Jesus Rivera, Christopher Harmon, Heather Rodriguez, Nicho Rodriguez, Amber Rodriguez, and Debra Ortiz. Great grandchild: Anjolique Casarez Pallbearers will be Butch Hargrove, Dale Rodriguez, Arthur Lucas, Ronald Lucas, Martin Salazar and James Ledbetter. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
