Melton Roy Hawkins

Mel Hawkins, 89, of China Spring, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco.

Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 10:30 a.m., in the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Mel will lie in state beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.
