HARRIS, MICHAEL WAYNE Michael Wayne Harris, age 39, of Waco died Sunday, July 6, 2003 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday, July 8 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave., with Rev. Pat Cummings officiating. Private burial at Waco Memorial North. Mr. Harris was born May 3, 1964 in Waco. He graduated from LaVega High School in 1982. He attended Southwestern University in Georgetown and M.C.C. He was employed in the family business, J.R. Harris and Son, Inc. until his death. He was involved in youth athletics in the China Spring area for several years, coaching baseball and basketball. Survivors include parents, Garry and Linda Harris of China Spring; daughter, Kimberley; sons, Garry and Jonathon; grandmother, Olivia Cloud of Waco; grandfather, J. R. Harris of Waco; brother, Terry Harris and wife, Kenna of China Spring; nieces, Olivia and Emily, and nephew, Ty. Memorials may be made to The Kidney Foundation.
