Natalie E. Forke

MRS. WALTER NATALIE FORKE, 94 of Waco, died Friday in a local hospital. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 PM Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd, the Rev. Richard Rust officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-7:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Forke was born December 18, 1906 in Burton. She attended schools in Riesel and moved to Waco in 1925. She married Walter H. Forke July 15, 1931; he preceded her in death March 19, 1980. Mrs. Forke was an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. over 37 years, retiring in 1962. She was a member of Retired Telephone Pioneers Club and Zion United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents Emil Petrich and Emma Kunkel , five sisters and 3 brothers. Survivors include her sister Louise Hawk of Dallas; her niece Virginia and husband John Urban of Waco; additional nieces and nephews and two dear friends Martha Sorrow and Ida Ford.
