OBITUARY FOR NORMA JEAN THOMAS Norma Jean Thomas, 65, of Waco, died Thursday August 16, 2001 . Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Monday, August 20, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 1124 Washington, with Rev. Brian K. Whitney officiating. Burial at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Thomas was born February 25, 1936 in Baird, Texas. She was educated in Cross Plains, Texas. She married Alton A .Thomas November 6, 1964. She moved to Waco in 1966. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall & Bertha Kelly, and a sister, Opal Hutcheison. She was a Sourthern Baptist. Survivors: Husband, Alton A. Thomas of Waco Daughters: Sheila Bruce & husband Clay of Waco Charlotte Jean Parker & husband Bobby of Hillsboro Mary Ann Hively & husband Gary of Waco Sons: Alton A. Thomas, Jr. & wife Sancy Gail of Clifton Jody Lynn Thomas & wife Jennifer of Waco Grandchildren: Josh and Jessica Bruce; Amanda, Robert and Rebecca Parker; David & Allison Wyrick: Cody & Keli Thomas; Colby, Gareth, & Brittany Thomas Great Grandchildren: Dakota Lane, Amber Jean and Jacob Sisters: Venna Geisler of Odessa and Betty Smith of Brownwood Several Nieces and Nephews.
