Ofelia Tristan Gonzales

Ofelia Tristan Gonzales passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Benjamin Magnaye officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with Rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Ofelia was born December 30, 1925, in Monterrey, NL, to Juan and Lorenza Tristan. Living in Waco, Texas, most of her life, she previously owned a Mexican restaurant and was a wonderful cook. Later, she lovingly cared for her mother and sister for many years until their passing. She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; and various family members. Ofelia is survived by her husband of 30 years, Salbador Gonzales; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
