Ronald James Suchecki, Jr.

Ronald James Suchecki Jr., 50, of China Spring, TX, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, February 8, 2021, in a local hospital. Ron was surrounded by his wife and children when he lost his more than 3-week battle against COVID-19. Ron was born on October 20, 1970, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Ron Sr. and Terry (Gabert) Suchecki. Ron attended Baylor where he earned a degree in Environmental Science. While at Baylor he met the love of his life, Melinda Stillings, also a student at Baylor. They married in 1996. Ron is survived by his wife, Melinda (Stillings) and four precious children; twins: Jacob and Caleb (20), Sage (16) and Samuel (4). He is also survived by his parents, Ron and Terry; his mother-in-law, Maxine Stillings; his brother-in-law, Sima Stillings; an aunt and uncle, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanie, and father-in-law, Harold. A celebration of life for Ron was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 13, at Highland Baptist Church; The Life Center and Chapel. Masks were required.
