Ruby Della Lindsey

Ruby Della Lindsey July 6, 1917 - June 5, 2008 Ruby Della Lindsey of Waco went to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at her residence after a long series of illnesses and hospitalizations. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Bert Mercer officiating. Burial will follow at White Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Ruby was born July 6, 1917, at Youngsport near Killeen to Ruben and Myrtle Ellis. In 1936 Ruby married Dail H. Lindsey, who passed away in 2000. She was a member of Brookview Church of Christ. She was a seamstress working from her home for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, W.P. and Howard Lee Ellis; and sister, Ollie Phillips. She is survived by her son, Dail Ellis Lindsey, of Waco; and brothers Jerry D. Ellis and wife, Shirley of Temple; and Cecil Vaughn Ellis and wife, Linda of Salado.
