Sammie Louise Saunders May 3, 1915 - September 12, 2011 Sammie Louise Saunders of Waco passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at her residence. Graveside services were at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Dorisann Cooper officiating. Mrs. Saunders was born May 3, 1915, in Oglesby, Texas to M B and Etta Martin. She was a loving and caring lady, and an active member of Lake Shore Baptist Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband J. R. Saunders; one sister and one brother. She is survived by her loving son Stuart Saunders, and wife Patricia, of Garland, TX; sister, Marietta Heard; brother, M. B. Martin and wife Dorothy.
