Jean Gentry Capp January 27, 1930 - August 29, 2014 Velma Jean Gentry Capp, 84, of Waco passed away Friday, August 29, 2014. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating. Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4, at City of Lubbock Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Jean was born January 27, 1930, in San Angelo, Texas, to Hubert and Julia Gentry. She retired as an elementary teacher in Hereford, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Murray M. Capp; and the father of her children, W.C. Beene. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Summers, Carol Elise Klussmann, Beverly Haliburton, Christie Culp, Stephen Beene, Robert Beene and Jay Beene, and their spouses; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and brother, Hubert Gentry and wife, Pat.
