Vurnice Wilburn Dodd June 14, 1919 August 14, 2015 V.W. Dodd passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 in Waco at the age of 96. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10:00 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Vivian Marks Dodd. He is survived by his wife, Sue Campbell Dodd and daughters; Rita Dodd Saylors-Butler, and Bette Rose Dodd Drymon; sons-in-law, Thorpe Butler, and Mark Drymon; grandchildren, Karen Saylors, Daniel Drymon, and Katie Drymon Bennett, and their spouses, Amy Guidry Drymon and Andy Bennett. He enjoyed the love of six-great grandchildren, Maddie Bennett, Claire Bennett, Gavin Bennett, Ben Drymon, Timothy Drymon and Henderson Saylors-Hall; two sisters, Hazel Bolton and Frances McDonald and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his step-children, Ron Campbell, Pam Key, and Bob Campbell, as well as numerous step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
