BEATY, WANDA Wanda Beaty, 77, of Temple, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Scott & White Hospital. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2003 at Rosemound Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Niedecken officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2003 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Beaty was born on May 23, 1926 in Waco to the late George Monroe and Myrtle Figures Jones. She was a graduate of Waco High School. She married C.W. Beaty in May of 1965 in Ogelsby. Mrs. Beaty retired from Owens Illinois Glass Company after 27 years. She was a member of Lorena United Methodist Church. She loved to read. Mrs. Beaty was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. She is survived by her husband, C.W. Beaty of Waco; daughters, Sherry Kuehl of Lorena and Helen Lowrie Watson of Kentucky; sons, George Lowrie and Thurston Lowrie both of Waco; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sisters, Claudette Ficklin of Waco and Shirley Stephens of Alpine, Texas.
