Warren Prather Davis, 55, of Everett, Washington, left his earthly life Thursday, May 29, 2025.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. in Waco. A private family service and burial will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery.
Warren was born June 10, 1969, to Donald B. Davis and Nancy Graham Davis. He attended St. Paul’s Elementary School and Lake Air Junior High. In 1987, he was part of the first graduating class of the consolidated Waco High School, where he enjoyed playing the trombone in the band. After high school, Warren entered the United States Navy Nuclear Power Training Center in Orlando, Florida—one of the most academically rigorous programs in the U.S. military. He proudly served on the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. After retiring from the U.S. Navy, Warren went to work for Boeing in Seattle, Washington, where he remained employed until his death.
Warren enjoyed reading, working with robotics, and learning new things by listening to podcasts. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Warren was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy; and his grandparents, Rosalie and Bill Davis, and Barbara and Jim Degnan.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Don and Tommye Lou Davis; his sister, Martha Davis; step-siblings, Christi Whittenburg and John David Whittenburg and his wife, Amanda; four nieces and one nephew; and his dear friends, Becky and Dave Jurgens.
Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Warren’s memory may do so to St. Paul’s Episcopal School, Fuzzy Friends Animal Rescue, or the American Cancer Society.
Warren’s family invites you to leave a memory or message online in his “Memorial Guestbook” at www.WHBfamily.com.
