Willa Mae DeLay October 3, 1921 - March 25, 2010 Billie DeLay of Waco passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 29, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jeff Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Billie was born October 3, 1921, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Clyde and Florence Hazlett. She was a homemaker and loved to play bridge. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Earl DeLay; and her daughter, Judy Kerth. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Gates of Waco, and Shellie Johnson of Lubbock; grandchildren, Clinton Gates of Waco, Nicole Pierce of Amarillo and Lindsey Pierce of Dallas, Randall Kerth and Courtney Kerth, both of Houston; and two great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice, The Waco Humane Society or Fuzzy Friends Animal Rescue.
