Willis Davis Willis Bill Davis, 82 passed away Monday, March 7, 2005 at an Arlington hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, March 11 at Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Howard Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. A visitation will be Thursday, March 10 from 6 – 8 pm at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey funeral home. Mr. Davis was a longtime resident of Waco. He was a Baylor graduate and a World War II veteran. He worked for L. L. Sams & Sons Church Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Florine Davis; sons, Gordon Davis & wife Lori of Arlington, TX and Greg Davis of Austin, TX,; grandchildren, Alissa & Audrey Davis of Arlington, TX; sister, Faye Stanley of Houston, TX; brother, Jesse Davis & wife Runelle of Baton Rouge, LA and many nieces and nephews.
