Ruth O'Neal July 5, 1924 - July 23, 2014 Zelda Ruth O'Neal of Waco passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Services will be 12:30 p.m., Saturday, July 26, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 26, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Ruth was born July 5, 1924, in Odds, Texas, to Richard and Erma Carter. She worked at Career Girl Stores until their closing. After that she opened her own shop, Dee Dee's This and That, until 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Ivan O'Neal; and sons, Joe Keith O'Neal and Larry Carter O'Neal. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Prikryl, China Spring, TX; grandchildren, Rebecca, Sara and Ethan Prikryl and ex-son-in-law, Dale Prikryl, all of China Spring.
